Performs product implementation of new functionality, programming, bug corrections which may require research and analysis. Performs maintenance and address bug issues. Operates under general supervision.

What You Will Need?

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering or computer science.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in product design, programming and product support.
Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, programming and implementation.
Good analytical and design skills.
Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
Good communications and interpersonal skills.
Advanced PC skills.
Helps to mentor less experienced employees in addition to fostering teamwork.

Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Find defects, fallacies and improvement areas in the product, anticipate issues, and formulate remedial actions.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:

Performs moderately complex product development, systems analysis and programming activities which may require some research and analysis:
Performs development, implementation and maintenance of products.
Prepares technical documentation of products.
Conducts unit testing for functionality and limits.
Assist with estimation and planning activities.
Participates in code reviews from other members of the development teams.
Performs moderately complex bug verification for assigned products. Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
