RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaison with various business teams within Infor, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services, operating in a consultative capacity
- Ensures compliance with IT policies and procedures
- Oversees complex global project execution, delivering within deadlines and schedules.
- Provides forward thinking analysis to business problems, presenting innovative solutions and remedies. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization.
- Creates and manages system roadmap and executes against the roadmap.
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Leads testing efforts, acting as a liaison between the business units and the developers.
- Interacts with customers and other end users of the application to determine enhancements.
- Responsible for discussing and understanding business requirements, driving solution workshops, training key users and managing client expectations on a continuous basis.
- Ability to create business process documents that capture each of the customer’s key business processes in a structured manner keeping in mind the company’s business goals \ objectives, the various functions and organization structure
- Work with client to categorize functionality gaps (based on set criteria) between existing process and software.
- Understand the technology stack that Infor provides as a solution in addition to the core products and work towards providing an optimal solution.
- Design configurations, enhancements, conversions and interfaces. This may include customizations and workarounds when the delivered functionality is not sufficient to meet the client's business process requirements.
- Perform system testing by developing and documenting test scenarios including scenario design with flow mapping and perform prototyping as needed.
- Should be a very good team player and should be able to work with other project members for the success of the project.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Very Analytical in thinking.
· At least 2 to 4 years’ experience in functional/Operational/business analysis for software product development or software implementation.
· Experience in supply chain domain (warehouse management) as Functional/Operational would be added advantage.
- Collaborates on and documents requirements/changes throughout the software development life cycle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate well with users (all levels), developers, and other business owners
- Ability to effectively facilitate team meetings, delivering informative, well-organized presentations.
- Strong business analysis skills – requirements gathering, documentation (requirements and technical), process mapping, etc.
- Provides domain knowledge/product knowledge to development and QA teams and as a subject matter expert.
- Exhibits innovation in the development of methods or approaches to solve design issues and development challenges
- Participate in the design and coordination of user acceptance tests
- Ensure that requirement and design documents are appropriately distributed, reviewed, discussed, modified, and ultimately approved.
SUMMARY:
The Dev Business Analyst, Associate will work as a member of Infor’s Supply Chain Execution team and will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting and communicating business and functional requirements. This position involves interaction with various business units, other business analysts, quality assurance and production support. It is expected to possess 2 to 4 years of experience with hands-on understanding of the product functionality and needs of users.
