Position Summary

In the Business Solutions Delivery team, we believe in empowering all Inforians to make data-driven decisions by unifying the data journey from inception to insight. We do this by creating a unified operating platform, accelerating business process, deliver a superior user experience and enable a data driven culture.

This position plays a critical role in realizing this vision. We are looking for a Business Analyst Senior to maintain and improve our quoting/pricing application (Infor CPQ) with integrations to the CRM, CLM, and order management systems. The current system will be migrated to the latest multi-tenant cloud version of the Infor CPQ product during the next couple of years. The Business Analyst will be a key player in the project and will be involved in all project phases of the implementation and the ongoing maintenance, configuration, integration and improvement of the system after go live.

The Business Analyst Senior will work closely with various stakeholders in Sales and Finance to understand the business processes and requirements, and work closely with Infor consultants, the IT development and QA testing team to get functional changes/enhancements developed and configured, tested, and rolled-out to the end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding key business processes, systems, challenges, business objectives and priorities and hot that related to the business applications
  • Building relationships with the stakeholders to be the preferred partner to drive business outcome
  • Calculating business cases to determine economic value of change/enhancement requests
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis
  • Identify root cause of problems with applications and interfaces
  • Research solution options in collaboration with Development Create business requirements and design specification documents for new system implementations, application changes, and interfaces
  • Documenting test scenarios against the business requirements and conducting QA testing post development activities
  • Ensuring end user enablement/adoption for new applications or system changes through end user documentation and training and measuring adoption rates
  • Serve as the channel between the Business community, IT Development, QA team, the Business Relationship Management, and Project Manager.
  • Ability to work flexible hours for global coverage as necessary


Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Business and systems analysis skills and know-how in use case modelling and documentation of functional specifications
  • Experience in test planning, test case documentation and testing
  • Experience in agile software development methodology
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in a global multicultural environment with the ability to interface with internal customers at various levels and build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creative problem solver who takes ownership of their projects
  • Experience in implementing, configuring and managing pricing/quoting applications or ERP systems would be beneficial
