Description & Requirements
As part of the Hardware Operations function, the Order Entry Specialist will interface daily with customers via telephone or email to assist, provide updates as requested, and enter orders for hardware. This position will process order requests for replacement parts, parts sales, system sales, and provide various support or assistance to aid the customer.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Ensure that all incoming calls, emails, or open tickets are responded to in a timely manner
- Take order request ensuring accuracy of requests by verifying serial numbers, past order history or working closely with customers or help desk
- Accurately enter all orders in a timely manner to properly issue shipment
- De-escalate customers situation as the occur and escalate as needed
- Monitor returns for timely return
- Maintain accurate documentation, identify waste in processes, and continuous improvement philosophy
Required skills:
- Written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Experience dealing with end users in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service role with a strong sense of empathy and high standard of customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in all Microsoft Office tools
- Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy of data entry
- Technical background or experience in the technology industry
