Performs complex testing requiring planning, scheduling and testing for complex solutions to ensure that those meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards.  Communicates with product developers and technical support specialists on product issues.  Operates under minimal to no supervision.  Does not typically have management responsibilities such as hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews; however, may assist with such decisions and activities.  

What You Will Need?
Minimum Qualifications:
  • at least 7+ years of experience in Software Product testing i.e., Integration Testing, Functional Testing
  • Experience handling complex projects and a lot of collaboration with BA s, Dev, Product Owners
  • Experience or knowledge in Automation testing
  • Background in Finance and/or Accounting Products
  • Willing to report onsite 3x a wee
  • Familiar or with knowledge of quality metrics

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge to any Programming Language
  • Knowledge in Agile Scrum methodology
  •  Relevant Certifications

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:
  • Develops an understanding of the industry’s usage of Infor/Lawson applications and incorporates this into the test requirements, design, cases and scripts.
  • Performs complex testing and test coordination on complex projects:
  • Writes test cases. Creation of automated testing scripts.
  • Performs complex functional and non-functional tests.
  • Reviews, maintains and creates test coding standards and processes.
  • Coordinates problem management process, including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.
  • Defines and documents QA/Testing methodologies and processes. 
  • Mentors quality analysts on methodologies, technologies and problem solving techniques.
