Description & Requirements

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Develops an understanding of the industry’s usage of Infor/Lawson applications and incorporates this into the test requirements, design, cases and scripts.
  • Performs complex testing and test coordination on complex projects:
  • Plans, schedules and implements testing projects.
  • Defines test objectives.
  • Writes test cases.
  • Assists other QA Analysts with approach and technical issues.
  • Performs complex functional, application, regression and performance tests.
  • Provides metrics and reports on test results and status.
  • Analyzes and reports overall test status and results.
  • Uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional and regression testing
  • Tooling and processes:
  • Evaluates testing tools for potential use and provides training/consulting on the use of testing tools.
  • Reviews, maintains and creates test coding standards and processes.
  • Defines and documents QA/Testing methodologies and processes. 
  • Mentors quality analysts on methodologies, technologies and problem solving techniques.
