The Senior Technical Solution Consultant is responsible for engaging with customers and prospects to identify and understand their business goals and requirements, and clearly articulate how our machine learning technology, automation and platform technology solutions help them achieve those goals. This position works with moderate to highly complex accounts and requires strong presentation and communication skills. The individual should have a strong technology depth in understanding enterprise-scale technology solutions and take pride in maintaining existing technical skills while developing new ones, so that they can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions around application portfolios, applications, and business processes whether on-premises or in the cloud.

Essential Duties

·       The major roles that the Technical Senior Solution Consultants has: Trusted Advisor, Technical Subject Matter Expert, Presales Consultant, and Technology Evangelist

·       Primary responsibility for supporting the sales process and interacting with prospective customers through a variety of sales cycle activities, including: Request for Proposal processes, discovery sessions, executive overviews, scripted and non-scripted solution demonstrations, software labs, follow-up discussions and post-demonstration surveys.

·       Work with account executives on sales opportunities, including: defining the solution scope, designing the account strategy, jointly preparing for prospect interactions.

·       Understand customer’s business priorities - what are the motivations, what are their strategies, and what are the head winds and tail winds in achieving their goals, the technology landscape and landscape aspirations of the customer

·       Creativity in approaching challenges and architecting solutions to develop presentation material and deliverables that reflects a deep understanding from an industry context point of view and a specific customers’ priorities and requirements, to position our value propositions highlighting benefits and differentiators

·       Build level of expertise in Infor technology products and cloud technologies and identify applicability and use cases, demonstrating an ability to match requirements with solutions

·       Collaborate on Customer opportunities with Infor Sales, solution consulting, development, service delivery and Product Management teams

·       Deliver quality presentations conveying Infor’s solutions and value in multiple scenarios - 1:1 or 1:M settings, in person and remotely.

·       Represent Infor at marketing events relevant to the industry

·       Work within a team to collaborate and continuously improve through leading and participating in internal projects, enablement activities and other activities

Basic Qualifications:

·       Technical domain expertise and demonstrated experience with Big Data, Data Transformation/ETL, AI, and/or process automation projects using Robotic Process Automation tools, enterprise integration and workflow

·       Experience in roles focused on delivering business value through technology

·       Domain or industry knowledge - experience in engaging with business stakeholders and have functional understanding of the discrete manufacturing, distribution or services industries, and typical challenges and business processes in organizations within those industries

·       Ability to develop technical demonstration artifacts for an end to end business process that also use enterprise integration methods, workflow, user experience and data management tools

·       Prior experience in a pre-sales / solution consulting role focusing on enterprise software

·       The equivalent of at least 5 years in a technical role

·       Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree

·       Market and general knowledge of machine learning tools and alternatives to support articulation of differentiated value

·       Market and general knowledge of hyper-automation, robotic process automation, and workflow tools and alternatives to support articulation of differentiated value

·       Advanced degree as applicable

·       Ability to conduct conversations with different types of stakeholders

·       Open to change and able to quickly adapt to changes in technology or directions

·       Self-starter and able to work independently but resourceful enough to seek out help when needed

·       Desire to continuously improve, curiosity to understand, learn more, and go beyond the current state of things

·       The ability to develop and produce product focused video recordings specific to different roles within a client organization detailing the value of Infor solutions
