Infor is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer to research, create proof of concepts, develop product design and optimized solutions to the issues and new features for a financial reporting application. The Sr. Software Engineer will maintain existing application and associated interfaces using .Net, C#, SQL database and Visual Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team that researches, maintains, and enhances financial reporting products.
  • Exercise judgment within generally defined procedures, practices, and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for application defects.
  • Write test cases, test plans/strategies and perform QA.
  • Responsible for working with other developers and product support to test and resolve application defects.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented, ensure quality deliverables and adherence to the processes.
  • Ability to provide technical consultation and technical direction/mentoring other team members.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to the latest technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Product development experience in Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in Visual Studio, C#, .Net, C, C++ and SQL Server
  • Experience in RESTful APIs and relational database design/development/performance
  • AWS Cloud or other cloud experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong product development experience in SQL, C# and API-First with an engineering mindset
  • Experience with Git code control (using Oxford), InstallShield, JIRA and RoboHelp
  • Experience with SaaS products in AWS or Azure
  • Experience articulating technical decisions and producing technical documents to Stakeholders
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment
