We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer to research, create POC, product design and develop optimized solutions to the issues and new features for a financial reporting application. Should maintain existing application and associated interfaces using .Net, C#, SQL database and Visual Studio.

 

A day in the life typically includes:

 

  • - Work as part of a team that researches, maintains, and enhances financial reporting products.

  • - Exercise judgment within generally defined procedures, practices, and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for application defects.

  • - Maintain a commitment to providing the best experience possible for Infor customers.

  • - Should be well versed in writing test cases, test plans/strategies and perform QA.

  • - Responsible for working with other developers and product support to test and resolve application defects.

  • - Self-motivated and results oriented, ensure quality deliverables and adherence to the processes.

  • - Ability to provide technical consultation and technical direction/mentoring other team members/freshers.

  • - Desire to learn and adapt to the latest technologies.

 

What will you need:
 

  • - 8 years of product development experience in Microsoft technologies.

  • - Proficient in Visual Studio, C#, .Net, C , C and SQL Server.

  • - Hands on experience in RESTful APIs and relational database design/development/performance.

  • - Comfortable with modern development concepts: OOPS, CI/CD, SOLID, TDD, API-First

  • - Strong analytic problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • -Must be amenable to work on a hybrid set-up

 

What puts you ahead?

 

  • - Strong product development experience in SQL, C# and API-First with an engineering mindset

  • - Git code control (using Oxford), InstallShield, JIRA and RoboHelp

  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be able to articulate technical decisions and produce excellent technical documents.

  • - Ability to work in different working hour shifts to maximize the overlap with Pacific time zone onsite.
