Description & Requirements


Performs product implementation of new functionality, programming, bug corrections, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis. Operates under general supervision. Does not typically have management responsibilities such as hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews; however, may assist with such decisions and activities.


• Performs moderately complex product development, systems analysis and programming activities which may require some research and analysis:

• Performs development, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.

• Prepares technical documentation of product modules/sub-systems.

• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.

• Assist with estimation and planning activities

• Participate in reviewing deliverables from other development teams, including designs, test plans, and documentation help identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design

• Performs moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.

• May assist in performing on-site client work on moderately complex applications.

• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.

• Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.


Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 yrs. of work experience in Software Development using (C#, .Net or OOP language)

• experience with data warehousing, OLAP, database management, and SQL Scripting.

• Must be willing to learn Infor's Proprietary language.

•Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, programming and implementation.

•Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.

•Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounting/Finance background
