Infor is looking for a talented engineer to join our enterprise scale Data Persistence team. Infor relies on its Landmark Platform to develop and run large scale multi-tenant SaaS enterprise applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). 

The Data Persistence layer provides management and interaction of data created by Landmark’s domain specific language (DSL) named the Landmark Pattern Language (LPL). The team’s tooling allows zero down time updates for multi-tenant systems. This engineering position will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools. In addition, this position will be responsible for enhancing the object relational mapping layer for the application tier and implementation of tooling to support the build and release of the Landmark domain specific language platform. The main tools to use and support include Java, Perl, Ant, Gradle, AWS, Groovy, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Jira, Git, Confluence, and JFrog.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep structural coding for builds of domain specific language
  • Expand test driven development layers and capabilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to triage and prioritize issues on your own
  • Debug complex issues involving multiple stakeholders and technologies
  • Development Processes (Daily Team Collaboration, Planning, Backlog Refinement , Demos)
  • Delivering long-term solutions that result in higher developer productivity and quality
  • Day to day development to enhance development tooling

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working in an AWS environment and using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Autoscaling, EFS, EBS, Cloudfront
  • Experience as a Developer tool maker
  • Experience with Java/Perl
  • Experience working in a test driven development environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gradle experience
  • Jira and Confluence experience
  • Experience working in small teams but interacting with many external stakeholders / customers
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
