Description & Requirements

The Vice President, Inside Sales is responsible for managing the internal North America sales team and maximizing sales opportunities to meet overall company revenue objectives, ensuring a positive team environment through strong leadership.

Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Be a hands-on leader for the high velocity sales organization, to guide the success of the inside sales team in areas of forecasting, analysis and methodology.
  • Be responsible for the growth, training and development of highly motivated sales team members, being responsible for budget over achievement and P&L growth at the top and bottom line.
  • Work with leaders across sales, marketing and product teams to ensure we hit our sales and revenue goals, as well as build credible relationships within the Infor family to create, manage and close sales opportunities.
  • Be an expert in Infor’s value propositions and be able to articulate this to the team, as well as all internal/external stakeholder; conveying energy and enthusiasm about the company, its products, services, people and ethics.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the ERP cloud market and know competitive products.
  • Be an excellent communicator with outstanding customer service skills.

What You Will Need:

  • Hands-on leadership experience in a large, high-velocity inside sales organization, to guide the success of the inside sales team
  • Have experience working for a large, complex software vendor, ideally having ERP experience
  • Experience guiding sales managers through a disciplined process to move prospects through sequential stages of engagement, alignment, desire, and acceptance
  • A track record and driving sales and exceeding targets

  • Ability to determine strategy and build tactical plans that deliver tangible results.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate the corporate vision, strategies, and complex technology simply.
