A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Review and update on Balance Sheet account schedule (e.g Fixed Asset, etc), review Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation and investigate with related teams to solve any issue or if any adjustment needed
• Prepare, manage and responsible on Local Statutory payments and filings : Withholding Tax payment and report submission (e.g CP37 and CP37D) to IRB, Service Tax payment and report submission (SST-02 filling and cheque) to Customs via AR Registered, and Imported Service Tax payment and report submission (imported service tax form and cheque) to Customs via AR Registered
• Liaise with Auditor, Malaysia IRB or Malaysia Government on preparation data/information related with queries of General Audit, Tax Audit or from any other Malaysia IRB/Government
• Complete all tax queries from Tax Consultant on corporate tax filing
• Prepare forecast on alliant and tax (monthly and quarterly)
• Prepare Purchase Order, manage and responsible on alliant calculation until payment (related with partner commission and royalties)
• Prepare, reconcile, propose entries and produce POC report (related with Services)
• Review all AP invoices received, provide invoice allocation, upload invoice and prepare payment summary list to AP Team

What you will need:

Required skills:

• Bachelor Degree - Accounting
• 2+ years of professional accounting and tax experience
• Bahasa Native/Bilingual and & fluency in English
• Can work onsite in KL Office on a hybrid set-up

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Audit and tax experience is preferred

·       Strong knowledge of the all pack of MS Office applications

·       Certified Professional in Malaysia Taxation would be an advantage

·       Numeracy and accuracy skills are essential

·       Strong customer service orientation
