We are now looking for a Senior Consultant for our growing Consulting organization. If you have worked on Infor Configure Price Quote (previously known as BuyDesign by TDCI) or a similar CPQ product in the past, then you might be the one we are looking for. We can offer you an exciting position where you will be working on projects with customers in both the Central European region and other countries in Europe. Full training on our product will be provided.
Infor is recruiting a Senior Consultant for the implementation of our CPQ systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the realisation of business benefits for clients
· Participate in full life cycle client facing implementation projects relating to Infor applications, working as part of an Infor Project team
· Change Management Execution ensuring compliance with Infor’s methodology. Works directly with the customer’s project team to understand their business needs and translate those business needs into a set of systematic specifications for development
· Participate in the information gathering and design process for a client implementation
· Configure a client business solution
· Develops a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Infor software to properly and creatively utilize features to meet client needs
· Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations
· Provide training to clients key and end users
· Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice
· Achieving engagement objectives
· Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects
· Attend product functionality briefings and training sessions
· Ability to lead and guide CPQ implementations leading other consultants and directing clients
· Ability to lead implementations in business analysis and best practices. Directing the implementation to the best solution for the customer needs and requirements.
The Sr Consultant role provides support to project teams and customers on how to achieve success with their solution through industry and implementation best practices.
The Sr Consultant ensures that the scope of the implementation project stays true to that solution design throughout the transition to delivery and to the point of go-live. They enable customer success and should ensure that the client realises their desired business outcomes from their investment in Infor.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Assist the Infor Programme leadership in helping Infor customers achieve their goals including a successful implementation, a positive business relationship with Infor, and to become and remain satisfied customers of Infor products and services.
- Develop expert level understanding of at least one or more modules of Infor CPQ software and how it meets Customer’s business need.
- Utilizes technical skills and industry knowledge in evaluating customer needs and implement leading edge solutions using Infor’s CPQ product suite.
- Ability to manage all aspects of a small to medium Customer project or work with consultants on large and/or complex technical projects.
- Strong communication skills to help derive customer requirements, communicate the end solution, and assist other consulting resources to complete implementation tasks.
- Uses configuration rule writing techniques to solve complex business problems while preserving the maintainability of the code
- Perform installation and configuration of all core and "add-on" products remotely
- Participate in detailed implementation planning, project planning and coordination around Infor CPQ product suite
- Provide analysis and recommendations to client on project phases, milestones, and overall progress
- Ensures supporting documentation is created and reviewed as required by the project
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent.
- 3 or more years of Infor or other CPQ Product experience.
Required skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
- Must be collaborative to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers.
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as self- starter
- Desire to learn and grow professionally grow.
- Fluent in German and English language – writing and speaking
