OCM Consultant, Principal

Location: Remote

Position Summary

 

Infor is seeking Principal Consultant candidates for our Business Transformation Practice. This individual will be leading work on projects, either individually or with a team, to help our clients with their organization transformation initiatives. Our Change consultants are expected to be thought leaders and advisors to our clients to help enable their strategic initiatives.

The work location is remote, but there is opportunity to travel up to 100% to client locations with a possibility for international travel.

In addition to project work, our consultants are influential in the growth of our practice. Principal Consultants actively lead internal initiatives such as new solutions, IP creation, practice operations, and people development.

The Business Transformation practice is a key component of Infor’s success strategy of technology implementations and internal transformation of Infor. Our practice is constantly looking for new ways to engage our clients and our business, there is opportunity to flex and grow your skills in business process transformation, organization strategy, organization design, industry expertise (e.g., discrete & process manufacturing, healthcare, and public sector), and complex workshop and meeting facilitation.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes

    • Engaging with client leadership (i.e., C-suite, Executives), mid-level management, and front-line employees in identifying key risks, issues, contingency plans, and timelines for technology implementations
    • Collaborating with Infor and Client Project Managers and Program Leaders on integrating OCM work into overall project delivery
    • Manage and lead a team of OCM resources and/or offshore training content developers
    • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to understand needs, solve problems, generate analysis and insights, and develop innovative solutions across organizational boundaries

    What You Will Need:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of practical Organization Change experience (e.g., change management, organizational strategy and design, and/or organizational development) preferably in a consulting role
    • Direct experience leading structured OCM and Project Management tied to ERP implementations,
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills including formal and informal presentations
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, and Visio; virtual facilitation and collaboration tools a plus
    • Experience in change management, organizational design, or business process transformations
    • Strategic and tactical experience in the areas of stakeholder engagement, change communication, and end-user training
    • Experience with large, complex and / or global program, technology implementation project, or workstream management
    • Demonstrated success working in a multi-vendor environment
    • Proven ability to perform and manage work to meet stakeholder needs and objectives by collaborating directly with clients and providing consulting services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology issues within scope and budget
    • Experience with applying adult learning principles and training development tools (e.g., uPerform, Adobe Captivate, Workforce Performance Builder, UPK, etc.)

    What Will Put You Ahead?

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree, such as an MBA, other related Master’s degree, or Ph.D. in a business discipline (i.e., organizational behavior, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or other relevant discipline)
    • Familiarity with sales efforts of change management and transformation engagements (e.g., proposal development, RFP responses, etc.)
    • CCMP and/or Prosci certification
