Position Title: Principal Learning Revenue Specialist      

Department:   Education Operations

Principal Learning Revenue Specialist is vital to the Education team to support internal and external customers as they become leaders in their own industries.  With a focus on entrepreneurship, this position will require skills as an effective liaison across multi-functional workgroups. Initiate billing transactions for internal and external resources from a variety of documents and mediums.  Execute and assist in the development of process and procedures to ensure accurate reporting and processing of billing transactions. Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with time sensitivities that impact other teams and/or processes. As a seasoned professional, the revenue specialist will have inherent leadership abilities as shown by a confident and positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and committed to quality support that showcases an eagerness to explore new challenges. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Learning Delivery Engagement and Revenue Operations.


·       Overall ownership of billing processes for Education team; review current processes, recommend updates, and act as subject matter expert for billing team.

·       Review statements of work and set up payment accounts in LMS

·       Audit/validate correct accounting action or treatment on transactions/reports submitted by billing team:

o   Scheduling deferred revenue

o   Applying revenue carves

o   Managing Time and Material or Fixed Fee items, etc.

·       Verify data linked across systems to ensure data integrity is intact for future billing and customer account accuracy.

·       Communicate and coordinate with other dependent and supporting departments as needed to complete or share cross functional information drawn from billing transactions.

o   Accounts Payable (Vendor Invoices)

o   Accounting

o   Cash Applications (Direct Debit/Remittance data

o   Royalties/Partner Commission

o   Global Renewals

o   Collections

o   Order Entry

o   Installation Database Team

·       Provide outstanding customer service when handling customer billing questions and requests.

·       Collaborate with team managers to build out bi-monthly learning revenue forecast

·       Perform other Education Operations Support / business-related tasks as may be assigned by the Management Team.


·       Good commercial and financial awareness

·       Understand accounting principles as related to the Billing function

·       Able to work effectively in a team environment

·       High degree of initiative and motivation

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills

·       Excellent PC skills

·       Must be flexible and able to work varying hours

·       Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

·       Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required


·       Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

·       2+ years’ experience in billing/revenue rec, ideally in a corporate education environment.

·       General knowledge of accounting principles

·       Experience in a transactional finance position


·       Excellent Microsoft Office skills. (Word, Excel and Outlook)


·       EMEA or US business hours

·       Hyderabad office or remote

·       Extended work hours during month-end and quarter-end
