Position Summary


Our Enterprise Architect will partner with our customers across the full lifecycle to define, drive and deliver Customer Success through an Enterprise focus on business transformation.

We now have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Global Professional Services team, providing business and technical leadership across the full Customer lifecycle, to deliver Customer Success for our largest Customer accounts as well as helping Infor drive our strategic growth plans.

We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience delivering Customer Success through business transformation in the Utilities area, planning journeys to the cloud, and enabling broader digital transformation roadmaps for large utilities organization. The preferred candidate has broad Water Industry experience as an Architect from both a Strategic and a Delivery perspective - either on the Customer side in-house or working with external customers from a consultancy perspective.

The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in water utility business processes, having worked with medium-large water and wastewater utilities. The role will advisory and guidance to our customers to help them streamline operations, stay compliant with the latest regulations, and adopt sustainable practices.

This role can be based from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand and will require frequent customer engagement either remotely, or on-site within the working week.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for partnering with our customers and the ‘lead chair’ from Infor across the Customer engagement lifecycle – Account/Sales Exec, Delivery/Program Exec, Customer Success Exec – for a number of Strategic Customer accounts:

-        Orchestrating our Strategic Customer Engagement framework and a One Infor approach across the full lifecycle – integrating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Digital, Value Engineering through to Consulting, Product Development and Services delivery as appropriate

-        Bringing Business and IT thought leadership to our Customers’ business transformation goals

-        Defining the Enterprise Architecture across Business (Strategy, Organisation & Process) through Information (Application & Data) and Technology Architecture domains (current and future state) as required to support strategic road mapping

-        Developing ‘Implementation & Migration plans’ that fully integrate business strategies/goals and desired business outcomes, with end-to-end solution enablement plans that can be executed in a phased manner – optimizing value delivery, while recognizing product maturity as well as business readiness for transformational change.

-        Assuring the transition to delivery through both Quality Assurance of the integrated proposal as well as ensuring effective continuity and knowledge transfer.

-        Overseeing the delivery of agreed priority business outcomes and value, through ownership of the End-to-End solution design and effective architectural governance of the enterprise transformation roadmap

Qualifications & Experience you will bring:

·       MBA or Masters degree preferred

·       Experience with TOGAF or other equivalent architectural framework. Certification preferred, but if you are not certified, training will be provided.  

·       Technologies line – Cloud, Big Data, Integration, Hybrid … etc ..

Architecture Strategy

  • Practical TOGAF (or equivalent) and consulting experience in the creation of architectural strategies and transformation roadmaps for businesses across a range of industries, with breadth and depth of understanding across the architectural landscape
  • Ability to define Current, Future and Transition State architectures across all domains (Business, Application, Data & Technology) with industry experience of successfully bringing these together in setting the scene for delivery and securing the transformation path to enable Customer Success
  • Experience in bringing Business and IT thought leadership to Industry Innovation & ‘Art of the Possible’ discussions with Customer executives in support of their digitally enabled, business transformation goals
  • Strong Business & Technical architecture leadership skills, with the ability to lead & orchestrate integrated, cross-functional teams in taking an enterprise approach to customer transformation and success.

Architecture Delivery

  • Deep understanding of business and solution capabilities required within respective industries with ERP at the core, but across the full business lifecycle
  • Able to simplify complexity through creation of core architectural models & artifacts across all domains and the full lifecycle, enabling effective communication of key insights, findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to assure effective transition from Sales to Delivery, through providing continuity of customer knowledge & understanding as well as assuring quality of an integrated delivery proposal & plan – aligned with business transformation readiness & product maturity
  • Ownership of Scope and End-to-End Solution architecture – enabling the Business Vision / Strategy & delivery of Business Outcomes and Customer Success
  • Experience managing Architecture Governance Frameworks, overseeing both transformation roadmaps as well as supporting delivery teams in partnership with program leadership

Executive leadership and Relationship Management

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and partnerships at an executive level
  • Ability to communicate architecture with stakeholders at all levels (Customer & Infor), providing both business and IT leadership while building trust and credibility
  • Able to facilitate and influence at an executive level
  • Able to develop quality architectural deliverables and presentations and effectively communicate key insights & recommendations to respective stakeholders from the executive team down
  • Leadership of integrated, global, multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to liaise and build relationships with all Infor teams to enabling streamlined customer engagement across the lifecycle.
