Position Summary

Infor is looking to contract a Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in Cloud Software solution delivery, within the Utilities sector (ideally Water), logistics or State/Federal Public Sector, is well-versed in PMBOK or an equivalent project methodology and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The PM is an effective facilitator who delivers high-quality results and brings excellent communication, planning, and organization skills to the team. You will take full control of new client project initiatives and manage both the client relationship and the Infor consulting team, to deliver projects on time and on budget that provide value to our customers. 


Your Responsibilities Include

  • Strong track record of managing and successfully delivering professional service engagements, programs and projects involving complex solution sets (i.e. 3-5 solutions), on-premise, cloud and hybrid
  • Foster teamwork and communication between teams and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for project financial performance and reporting project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans inclusive of budgets and resource utilization schedules
  • Track and communicate progress, potential issues, and roadblocks to all project stakeholders
  • Manage risk both for the client and for Infor
  • Adapting communication style and methods in response to varying individuals and diverse situations
  • Tackling conflict situations assertively and encouraging those involved to work together to reach solutions
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple functions, projects, priorities, and time pressure
  • Ensure project success which is measured as on time / on budget / customer satisfaction
  • Work with sales, architects, services, and others to set scope, staffing and organization aspects of an engagement
  • The Infor culture is fast paced and assertive in a positive way; needs to fit into a “can do” style of culture
  • Drive customer reference-ability as evidenced by customer reference artifacts
  • Coordinate with the PMO to ensure that the project follows best Infor’s Deployment Methodology and quality deliverables
  • Identify new business opportunities and takes part in new sales initiatives


Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization

  • 5+ years professional services experience for an enterprise software company, ideally a cloud applications business or a systems integration consultancy firm or Domain project delivery knowledge within Water utility, logistics or State/Federal Public Sector
  • Advanced knowledge of a structured project management methodology and practices - PMP certification preferred
  • Experienced MS Projects user
  • Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people skills to manage the Infor Project Team and the customer stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities
