As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the Requirement gathering, writing functional specifications and software implementation. You will be responsible for converting and mapping customer business requirements to budgeting and financial consolidation software. You will be responsible for designing, enhancing, automating, and managing business models/application configurations for budgeting/forecasting/financial consolidations systems. You will be interacting with the multiple stake holders to understand the requirements and demonstrate the Budgeting and financial consolidation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to understand budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation and reporting requirements.
• Deep knowledge on accounting concepts and financials.
• Deep knowledge on budgeting and forecasting systems. 
• Design and architect Budgeting solutions to meet customer needs.
• Responsible for design finalization and appropriate project documentation.
• Proven professional experience with data analysis, modelling of complex data sets.
• Thorough understanding of data warehousing data modeling (Snowflake and Star Schema)
• Understand data needs and work with various IT teams to prepare required dataset.
• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful reports/dashboards.
• Create relationships between data and develop multidimensional data models
• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per requirement
• Design dashboards with emphasis on overall report functionality and ensure smooth user experience with respect to aesthetics and performance
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using BI tools.
• Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
•  Responsible for implementing budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation solutions and build custom extensions based on customer requirements.

Experience and Qualification:

• 8-15 year of Experience
• Experience on Budgeting, forecasting and financial consolidation solution.
• Charted Accountant/MBA Finance/B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech/
• Deep knowledge on any budgeting and forecasting software
• Deep knowledge on financial consolidation software
• Strong data warehousing and business intelligence skill.
• Proficient in designing and implementing data models.Must have data modelling experience including best practices and impact analysis.
• Knowledge on anyone of the software’s like Cognos TM1, Hyperion, Oracle EPM, Oracle FCC, IBM Planning, SAP BPC, Onestream and etc
• Experience in BI projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in working with customers in requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of various domains such as Finance, Sales, Procurement etc.
