Description & Requirements

A Solution Consultant supports the sales organization with subject matter expertise and acts as the go-to person for any solution related question

Next to that, the Solution Consultant keeps up to date with trends in the marketplace in areas related to property management, revenue management and sales & event management.  This information can be incorporated into product and customer presentations.  This information also includes competitor insights. 

A solution consultant works independently and collaboratively with team members to provide customer demonstrations of our Infor hospitality solutions.

The solution consultant is responsible for having an understanding and presenting some technical information relating to our products.

The solution consultant is responsible for understanding a potential customers area of concerns of changing their technology or solutions to a Infor hospitality solution.

EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·       Minimum 3-5 years of Hotel PMS & Revenue Management knowledge and experience

·       University or similar degree, or equivalent work experience good communication, listening and persuasive skills.

·       Proficient in English, French, German.  Any additional language is a plus

·       Excellent presentation, communication, written, and interpersonal skills.

·       PMS and POS Hotel systems implementation experience a plus.

·       MS-Office suite and various other software applications used as required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Support Field Sales

·       Provides Solution expertise assistance to the sales organization both during sales demo’s as for RFP’s

·       Understands prospective client’s critical business issues to present and demonstrate Infor’s software capabilities for the best possible solution to win the business.

·       Understands and effectively communicates product line strengths and weaknesses in comparison to the competition in the marketplace.

·       Conducts site surveys and/or phone surveys with Account Executives to determine prospects’ needs.

·       Determine an agenda and set appropriate expectations for demonstrations.

·       Determine ability of Infor applications to address prospect’s business issues and assist Account Executive in determining degree of Infor's “fit” for each deal.

·       Work with the Account Executive to coordinate demonstration strategy planning for the sales team.

·       Applies product knowledge, presentation skills and technical understanding to effectively present Infor products to prospects and customers.

·       Handle objections professionally.

·       Respond appropriately to various personalities by listening fully and thinking quickly before answering questions.

·       Maintain control of the agenda during the presentation.

·       Address any outstanding product line issues with prospects.

·       Maintain current with latest releases of Infor solutions

·       Competitive landscape

·       Provide feedback to sales management and product management on any issues in the field.

·       Keeps updated on Infor and competitor product lines.

·       Ensures product battle cards are constantly up to date

·       Projects performed from both Infor office and remote office.

·       International travel required from time to time.

·       related to the feature’s project life cycle to meet the agreed deadlines.
