Position Summary

The Business Solution Consultant possesses advanced/expert level knowledge of Infor CloudSuite and ERP solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the account team in support of the sales account strategy. The Business Solution Consultant interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. The Business Solution Consultant often leads teams of presales specialists on larger sales cycles. In addition to deal support, a Business Solution Consultant collaborates with sales and Value Engineering teams to plan account strategies, and make sure the smooth transition with the Consulting Service team

 

Your Responsibilities Include

· Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities

· Identify, qualify and consolidate opportunities that rely on solution development and/or solution packaging

· Provide full, effective and successful product demonstrations, presentations and a clear understanding of all aspects of the product- and service offering, to various levels of audience, ranging from IT to board level

· In close cooperation with the Sales Executives, play a major role in answering Tenders, RFI/RFP proposals

· Keep up with the latest developments of the technology and the competition. Have a good internal network of people and knowledge sources inside and outside the company. This means with product development, peers, consulting and partners

· Responsible for translating technical features into usable and creative sales statements and presentations and work closely together with the departments that can provide this information (R&D, Consulting Services, Marketing, Alliances & Partners)

· Support a team environment that encourages both individual and team accomplishments. Actively exchange product knowledge and industrial expertise to others

· Submit administrative work such as expense reports, activities, reports required by management

· Focused solution area: ERP

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or computer science or equivalent

· 8+ years in enterprise software applications

· Must have business background with technical aptitude

· Good exposure to Infor LN, Infor Syteline or any similar ERP package (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.) is essential

· Solid industry knowledge in any of High Tech, Food and Beverage, Machinery, Industrial Manufacturing, and etc

· Ability to work in teams as well as individually is required

· Excellent writing, communications, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential

· Fluent in both English and Chinese (read, write, speak)

· Ability to travel extensively
