Value Engineering (VE) is an exciting and strategic team which supports the Infor sales teams using value based selling techniques and strategies to progress sales opportunities. Value Engineers acts as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them address business challenges through technological solutions, driving digital transformation, and enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives.
We are looking for highly passionate and inquisitive individuals who can craft value-driven artifacts and models to facilitate value-oriented discussions with customers. In this role, you will develop value models to substantiate technology investments and provide strategic analysis on prospective customers. The position is with Value Engineering Hub, located in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities
Value Models:
Create, refine, and enhance value models in collaboration with presales teams that articulates strategic, financial and operations benefits of Infor solutions
Develop compelling and executive facing value propositions (ROI) for sales opportunities to provide financial justification for technology investments
Account Research:
Conduct in-depth research on prospective customers to gather insights into their goals, strategic priorities, challenges, technology initiatives, and operations.
Perform financial analysis and benchmarking to evaluate company performance
Industry Research:
Undertake comprehensive research to gather industry-specific metrics, benchmarks, and best practices
Research industry reports and trade publications to identify industry trends, challenges, and opportunities
Collaboration:
Serve as the value expert, and provide guidance and insight on Value Engineering Hub offerings to various stakeholders.
Effectively communicate complex value propositions and technology benefits to internal teams and stakeholders, particularly those based in North America.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in value engineering, technology presales, consulting, or any similar roles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic insights
- Effective communication skills, particularly in engaging with North American stakeholders
- Passion for continuous improvement, with a drive to innovate and enhance offerings
MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA)
Proficiency in financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis (ROI), and value selling
Ability to translate technical features into tangible, quantitative, and qualitative business benefits
Knowledge of ERP, process automation, AI, and emerging technologies use cases
