We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Infor in the role of a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst.  The candidate will evaluate and test multiple components to verify functionality according to design documentation and standards, designing and implementing test plans and scripts to ensure product quality. The candidate will work closely on regression and integration testing involving different modules from the ION product and other Infor OS products. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the product meets the quality standards and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback.

Work Experience/Basic Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in manual and automation testing using various tools (knowledge of Python and Robot Framework is a plus)
• Proficient in creating testing strategies and test plans, based on requirements
• Logical and analytical skills in detecting and resolving errors, issues, and process faults, with timely and accurate reporting of defects found during testing using JIRA
• Involved in various types of testing – regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing
• Experience in API testing
• Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining quality results
• Passionate about learning new concepts and prepared to accept challenging roles
• Experience in understanding product information and handling customer scenarios
• Working on implementing and monitoring test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing
• Good understanding of SDLC

Essential Duties:

• Involved in understanding new requirements and preparing test scenarios and plans, ensuring needs are testable in collaboration with stakeholders
• Acquires a deep understanding of the application domain and can apply this functional knowledge to quickly understand new requirements and designs
• Identifies, analyzes, and documents complex defects, questionable functions, errors and inconsistencies in software functionality
• Validates new software in test environments. Assumes QA oversight of the project in areas of design control, risk management, design verification and validation
• Facilitates meetings, conference calls where and when necessary
• Involve in release management
• Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies
• Assists employees, vendors, or other customers by answering questions related to QA processes, procedures and services
• Completes work in a timely and accurate manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Mentors, coaches, and trains junior QA Analysts
