Infor is seeking a Sales & Events Consultant to join our Global Professional Services Team. This role is responsible for leading the successful implementation of Infor’s Sales and Events applications https://www.infor.com/products/sales-catering, delivering high-quality consulting services, configuring systems to meet client needs, and providing product training. The Consultant will work with both new and existing clients across the hospitality sector, supporting upgrades, expansions, and billable services. A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Completing Installation Tasks including Systems’ Setup, Testing and Delivery
- Coordinating all project phases with clients and internal Teams
- Working closely with Technical Solutions and Support teams
- Responsible for resolving technical incidents during implementation, including identifying issues, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring timely resolution
- Assist sales with expert product advice
- Documentation materials and internal reporting
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in software implementation or support within the hospitality industry, especially with Hotels, Resorts, or Event Venues
- Experience coordinating multiple phases of software implementation across internal and client teams
- Experience with complete system setup, testing, and delivery on time and to quality standards
- Experience resolving implementation issues by independently identifying and engaging appropriate internal resources
- Experience in managing documentation, internal reporting, and contributing to project tracking
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hospitality event or sales management systems such as SCS, TRS, or Hai
- Experience working in or directly supporting the operations of Hotels, Resorts, or Event Venues
- Experience supporting software upgrades, system enhancements, or delivering additional billable services
- Prior experience supporting pre-sales teams with product expertise and participating in client-facing discussions
