Beschreibung & Anforderungen

The Network Development Engineer, Associate will be part of Infor's Cloverleaf Development Team, working closely with customers and internal development teams to implement and manage VPN and AWS Direct Connect solutions. The ideal candidate should have a networking background, preferably within the AWS ecosystem, and an interest in expanding into a DevOps role.


What You Will Need?
Required skills:
  • Holds a relevant degree in a related technical discipline or has equivalent experience in a large-scale network environment.
  • Fresh graduate with internship or OJT experience in network engineering and management.
  • Knowledgeable or familiar with VPN and network security.
  • Has basic understanding in cloud terminologies, preferably within the AWS ecosystem
  • Possesses network-focused knowledge, including routing protocols, technologies, and platforms in large-scale data center and/or Wide Area Networking (WAN) environments.
  • Strong interest in network engineering, deployment, and operational mechanisms to support IP networking systems.
  • Capable of working in a technical on-call capacity, responding to customer-impacting events, mitigating issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrates good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Amenable to working in BGC, Taguig office 3x a week.

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understands different networking hardware and packet forwarding architectures
  • Knowledge & experience of Linux or other Unix operating systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Knowledge & experience of interacting with many network devices at a time through any of networking configuration tools, Infrastructure as Code or scripting.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming with one or more of Python (preferred), Perl, Ruby, Shell, Java, etc.
  • Knowledge with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Design, implement, and maintain TCP/IP networking, routing, and network security architecture, utilizing core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, load balancers, firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
  • Implement and manage network connectivity options such as VPN connections, Direct Connect, and other secure networking solutions.
  • Oversee and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with customer teams to understand their requirements and provide tailored infrastructure and deployment solutions.
