Description & Requirements

Responsible for developing and supporting application programs using various programming languages, technologies, and development tools. He/she provides basic technical application guidance and support to various internal customers including but not limited to other application development teams, support engineers and business consultants.

Required skills:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
• MUST have a passion for technology, self-motivated, process-oriented, and values workmanship.
• Good knowledge in the ff.
o Java/J2EE development
o Software Development Life Cycle
o Can execute SQL scripts.
• At least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge in the ff.
o ERP business processes
o XML and GitLab
o Agile Development Methodology (Scrum and Kanban)
o Test automation scripting using Selenium, Ranorex or similar tools
• General web development skills including HTTP/HTTPS, HTML, CSS, and XPATH
• Experience working within a large, cross-regional development organization.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Translates design into code following company standards for product quality and maintainability
• Performs maintenance on existing products.
• Obtains peer review of the code.
• Provides analysis of current program functionality.
• Performs code improvements to eliminate program errors while maintaining application functionality.
• Recommends design alternatives to enhance the performance and functionality of application software.
• Performs unit tests and works with Business and QA analysts to help perform regression test and system tests.
• Performs test automation scripting using proprietary tools for the purpose of quality assurance.
• Works with Business Analysts to document the final implementation of the design.
• Understands basic customer business processes applicable to the application.
• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the assigned Infor application supported by their department.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of tools used in the software development environment.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of current software development technologies, computer systems, and industry trends.
