Position Summary

In the Business Solutions Delivery team, we believe in empowering all Inforians to make data-driven decisions by unifying the data journey from inception to insight. We do this by creating a unified operating platform, accelerating business processes, deliver a superior user experience and enable a data driven culture.

This position plays a critical role in realizing this vision. We are looking for a business analyst to help maintaining, enhancing and improving the order management and billing systems. You will support the end users and application support team on issues, reporting or change requests that cannot be resolved by the Application Support team. In addition you will work closely with key business contacts from various regions to understand local billing requirements and enhancements requests. The business analyst will document and prioritize the functional requirements and work with the IT development and QA team to get these developed, tested, and rolled-out to the end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements for enhancements and configuration changes of the billing and order management system
  • Identifying root cause of problems with applications and interfaces and working with the right teams to resolve
  • Document test scenarios against the business requirements and conduct QA testing
  • Ensuring end user enablement for system changes through end user documentation and training
  • Enable Application Support to understand new features
  • Serve as the channel between the customer community, application support, QA team and the development team
  • Create/maintain functional documentation on applications and interfaces
  • Ability to work flexible hours for global coverage as necessary

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Bachelor's in a Business Administration or IT field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with requirements management and use case modeling or experience in an Application Support Role.
  • Experience in test case documentation and testing
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in a global multicultural environment with the ability to interface with internal customers at various levels and build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creative problem solver who takes ownership of their projects
  • Experience with billing or order management and fulfillment system would be beneficial, but not required
