The Functional Consultant position is an integral part of the Infor Global Delivery Services (GDS) organization, which delivers customizations, systems analysis, training, and client support for Infor M3 customers around the world. We are subject matter experts of our Infor M3 product suite, capitalizing on our industry knowledge to efficiently provide our customers solutions to enhance their business processes.

Infor is looking for a Senior Business Consultant with knowledge in one of more of the following industries: Equipment, Distribution, Food and Beverage and/or Fashion.

You will be responsible for delivering business process and application consulting services which include process design, application configuration, testing, client training on Infor software, technologies, and tools in accordance with standard implementation methods. Developing ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and for providing clients with "industry best practice" recommendations is also an important part of your role.

The focus will be on client implementations in the Americas.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes: 

• Manage Infor Process Manufacturing/Distribution Implementations remotely. 
• Manage different consulting activities i.e. Conference Room Pilot sessions, go-live support, etc.
• Facilitate solution discussions of primary area of expertise and own all documentation in line with SOW participation in critical phases onsite/nearshore.
• Provide customers with integration and industry expertise as well as “best practice” recommendations; act as an advisor to Infor customers regarding best practices and how to configure their Infor solution for making their processes and way of working more efficient.
• Design solutions for customers involving SC and other associated products (ERP Integrations; Warehouse Control System (WCS) Interfaces; Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions; Labelling solutions; RFID etc.)
• Lead Integration workshops and facilitate end-to-end development of interfaces from requirement gathering to system study, coding, testing, deploying and further enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience implementing ERP software packages related to Finance, Maintenance, Services, Rental, Sales, Warehousing/SCM.  
• Ability to translate customer requirements and configure solutions by mapping customer's business into Enterprise software.
  
• Experience with building process diagrams for customers using tools like Visio, Lucid chart etc. and be able to build required documents based on Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with data analytics using Excel.
• Abroad travel expectations 30-50%.
  
• Full proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Accountancy, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following industries: Equipment Industry, Distribution, Food and Beverage, or Fashion.

Job Location:  Montes Urales Norte 505, Col, Lomas de Chapultepec, 11000 Ciudad de México.

Hybrid role:  3 days per week in office.
