Title: Director, Content Marketing – Infor Platform

Location: Remote USA

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for planning the content strategy and creating content about the Infor platform.

Qualified candidates will be:

·       An experienced, strong team leader, adept at managing and motivating other content managers and writers

·       A natural collaborator, who will partner across the different marketing functions and with key stakeholders within the business unit

·       A strong content strategist who can devise compelling campaign messaging and content experiences for our global marketing campaigns with the goal of driving engagement, adoption and utilization

·       Experienced in developing and creating content within the global tech b2b software market, on time, on budget and to requirements

·       Knowledgeable of which content types are most effective in driving conversations and engagement along the different stages of the buyer journey

·       Forward-thinking to anticipate future trends

·       Numerate and analytical, understanding the importance of measuring content and campaign performance

Responsibilities:

·       Working with industry strategists and other marketing stakeholders to develop campaign messaging frameworks

·       Planning content strategies for global campaigns; developing and managing the creation of the content required by those campaigns to achieve business goals

·       Planning and maintaining the holistic view of content for your industry(s) and relevant products via Content Roadmaps

·       Analyzing the performance of content with the campaign execution team to understand how to optimize and improve our approach to content. Sharing learnings with the wider Content Strategy team

·       Sourcing partners and internal content makers to commission and develop content

·       Developing and maintaining ongoing knowledge and mastery of the Infor buyer/customer profiles

·       Managing and motivating direct reports, including managing resourcing and workload within the team

·       Participating in internal campaign briefings and activations

Basic Qualifications:

·       10+ years’ experience in marketing; content and product

·       Strong team leadership experience

·       A strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify opportunities, create compelling content strategies, and gain support from cross-functional stakeholders

·       Background experience of platform based solutions - understanding how the technology adds value to the audience.

·       International marketing experience

·       Excellent storytelling, verbal, and written communications skills

·       Expertise planning and driving strategically grounded and brilliant campaign content across various media (executive briefs, byline articles, blogs, social, email, video, etc.)

·       Possess strong organization and planning skills – control workload and deadlines while juggling priorities for efficiency and productivity

·       A self-starter with a curiosity for our market – learns quickly and is flexible to adapt to changes

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Bachelors degree / Marketing

·       Background in enterprise software – ERP & cloud/SaaS solution experience is important.
