We are currently looking for a driven and focused individual to join us at Infor in our Solihull office to manage our EMEA Billing Department.
The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the EMEA billing operations of Infor. This role includes managing the billing team 7 People, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing process, and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
You will liaise closely with our Shared Service Centre in India to ensure that the objectives of the billing team are met.
The Billing Manager will be required to work closely with various departments within Infor to streamline billing processes and resolve any billing-related issues.
The finance roadmap includes a plan to replace our current billing system over the next 18 months, providing the successful candidate an opportunity to play a key role in process definition and system implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the billing department.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Monitor and manage the billing cycle and workflow.
- Develop and implement effective billing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with regulation
- Supervise and support billing staff, providing training and development opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address performance issues promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Prepare and analyze billing KPI reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Customer Relations:
- Address and resolve billing inquiries and disputes from internal customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and proactively obtain feedback.
- Work collaboratively with internal customers to fully understand customer needs and billing requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of billing software and systems.
- Implement new technologies and systems to improve billing efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security within billing systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve billing processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Lead projects related to billing process improvements and system upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Experience in billing preferred, but would also consider accounting or customer service relevant experience
- Beneficial to have strong understanding of accounting principles
- Be capable of a good understanding of the EMEA billing market including government regulations, local customs and market drivers
- Ensuring effective billing policies and procedures are in place
- Prior experience in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
