GTM Learning Product Manager

Position Summary: The person in this role will convey the learning program’s value to the market including how to sell and position the learning programs and products and create marketing materials that communicate product/programs features and new release functionality. In alignment with the learning programs, portfolio, and development leaders, the GTM Learning Product Manager will be responsible for learning the product’s strategy, getting to know its audiences, key stakeholders, and user roles/personas, and develop the tools that Infor will use to introduce and socialize the value of the product to the market including webinars (for internal and external audiences). The position directly reports to the Senior Director, Learning Products and Strategy.

Close collaboration with learning stakeholders is critical to succeed in this role. Stakeholders include Learning Programs Leaders, Learning Portfolio Leaders, Learning Development Directors, Education Instructors, Infor partners, customers, and other Infor internal groups, including Learning Operations, Education Services Delivery, Product Management and Engineering, Support, Sales, Consulting, and Product Documentation.

Infor Education Services learning programs currently include 5000+ learning assets delivered in traditional classrooms and virtual classrooms, as well as web based and self-paced/video training courses. The offer is sold transactionally and included in subscriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Learning Programs, Portfolio, Development, and Operations teams in the process of developing the definition, messaging, and positioning of programs/products
  • Develop and engage in go-to-market strategy and support marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain go-to-market collateral, including thought leadership pieces, infographics, brochures, standard communications, and data sheets
  • Perform market research and execute strategies to launch learning products or programs to market
  • Proposed new learning products to address the needs of user roles/personas or develop new capabilities to existing products to attract user roles/personas
  • Monitor trends in the broader market and how Infor learning products are performing relative to them
  • Completes qualitative/quantitative assessment of competitors and their capabilities
  • Work in partnership with Senior Director, Learning Products and GTM and VP, Learning Products and Strategy to execute the long-term product vision and deliver respective audience satisfaction
  • Socialize the critical importance of learning through formalized assets to internal team members for greater awareness across Infor

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile Principles
  • 4+ years of Product Management & Product Marketing Experience in professional services. Experience in learning services is a plus.
  • Experience with client/customer-facing work through marketing assets for distribution to internal and external audiences
  • Experience developing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for further penetration
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional (often matrixed) teams while encouraging trusted working relationships.
  • Passionate about learning new markets, technologies, and solutions; and translating it to differentiated benefits
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to a wide range of audiences of various sizes
  • Balance competing needs from multiple stakeholders. Moves forward positively midst competing and shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Knack for presentation design leveraging images and slide flow which conveys an everyday story with compelling value proposition
