A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Software Development: Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based application, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and maintainable.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise in Java best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Architectural Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect software solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify and address issues, and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks, ensuring the applications are highly responsive and efficient.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, architecture, and processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development, evaluate their potential for integration, and make recommendations.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in Agile development methodologies, suggesting process improvements, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with at least 4-5 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, including Java EE or Spring frameworks.
• Proficiency in software design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
• Database experience with SQL (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Maven).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Java certifications) a plus.
