Position Summary:

The Software Engineer will work on developing the software by doing maintenance work/bug fixes and eventually implement new features to further enhance the Supply Chain Procurement application, ensuring that deliverables are quality tested and documented as necessary.

What You Will Need:
Required skills:
  • At least 1.5 years of full development experience (preferably back end programming)
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Must be willing to learn and use a proprietary language
  • Good collaboration with teammates
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent Analytical/problem solving skill
  • Willingness to report onsite 3x a week.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in ERP
  • Background in Agile methodology

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Ongoing technical learning of Landmark Proprietary Language
  • Ongoing functional learning of Supply Chain procurement modules 
  • Work on bug fixing and/or enhancement for FSM supply chain procurement module 
  • Understand design documents
  • Analyze reported issues/bugs and derive expected behaviors as needed
  • Extensive testing on code fixes
  • Collaborate with teammates
  • Participate in code reviews (Process: Present understanding of the ticket, explain code changes to the team, receive feedback from reviewers or give feedback as a reviewer)
  • Attend Agile meetings (scrum, sprint retrospective, sprint planning, etc.)

The team is composed of 3 sub teams: Financials team, Supply Chain team, IDM (document management) team
The application worked on by the team for this opening focuses on Supply Chain Procurement, including Inventory Control, Warehouse, Purchase Order, Requisition, Billing, Warehouse, Work Order, and Kitchen Management
The team is composed of Business Analysts and Developers 
Work arrangement is flexible but should follow the core hours which is 10 AM to 4 PM. This means that meetings scheduled at 10 AM onwards should be attended to regardless of the time an employee usually signs in.
