Role:  Senior Manager, Professional Services (Hospitality and POS)

Location: Remote US

Our North America Hospitality consulting practice is made up of HMS, Restaurants, Sales and Catering, and Point of Sale.  Sr Manager in place to take over some of these practices has become necessary.  This position will help balance the load and provide a succession plan for NA.

Summary:

This role will oversee specific to Point of Sale and Sales and Catering.  Oversees the development and implementation of detailed technology solutions for clients using company products, outsourced solutions or proprietary tools/techniques. Responsible for defining the client needs, developing a proposal to meet those needs, as well as overseeing the implementation of the complete project solution. Performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity. Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization (i.e., billable hours for the department) or performance against budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you will do:

  • Provide weekly forecasts and review and analyses of P&L
  • Involvement in quarterly business reviews and yearly budget process
  • Maintain contact with key corporate clients
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are being met
  • Manage and approve invoices for billing
  • Ensure team utilization meets corporate targets
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks/policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Oversee and manage consultants, including periodic staff appraisals and performance feedback
  • Lead projects and initiatives as may be assigned
  • Provide leadership through knowledge sharing, mentoring, coaching and skills development

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of Hotel PMS or POS Applications, with leadership experience in a Professional Services organization highly desirable
  • strong Customer Care skills
  • Knowledge of Service Agreements as well as monitoring to ensure achievement
  • Strong organizational skills & time management skills project management skills with
  • Ability to step into complex projects and redirect as necessary
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
