The Strategy Lead for Sustainability is a newly created role dedicated to developing and executing Infor’s go-to-market strategy for our suite of software applications focused on sustainability. This position will play a pivotal role in driving the requirements for our future roadmap innovation and the success and adoption of our products in the market through Sales tools, messaging & Sales Plays.targeted revenue and profitability, and looks for opportunities to expand our solution footprint and services opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for our sustainability solutions applications, encompassing product positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution channels.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify target customer segments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in sustainability solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, and customer success teams on sustainability requirements for input to product roadmaps and to align market strategies and messaging with overall business objectives.
• Create compelling sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and sales tools, to support the sales team in effectively communicating the value proposition of our products.
• Partner with Marketing to drive demand generation initiatives, including digital marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships, to generate awareness and interest in our sustainability software offerings.
• Support individual Sales pursuits as a subject matter expert in sustainability with up-to-date knowledge of all environmental regulations that impact businesses
• Personally deliver industry point of view, thought leadership and sales plays within the assigned geography to drive engagement with C-levels at prospects and influencers to inform on the industry, Infor, Infor solutions and position the value that they can deliver.
• Develop Sales Plays that generate pipeline for Infor sustainability solutions. Measure and/or track leading indicators of success for demand generation (size and timing of pipeline) and sales execution
• Coach the field team on the topic of sustainability. Share and develop knowledge and expertise across the team to become more effective, grow the business and deliver customer success.
• Internal publishing & adoption of GTM Strategy for Infor sustainability solutions
• Pipeline growth: for Infor sustainability solutions
• Subscription bookings growth: Total # of wins and their total value for assigned accounts using Infor sustainability solutions
• Gather strong references through published testimonials showcasing successful use of Infor sustainability solutions.
• Monitor the number of presentations to prospect C-level executives, influencers, webinars, and events.
Key Requirements/Experience
• Deep domain knowledge preferably gained as a Practitioner, Consultant or Sustainability Leader in a manufacturing business with knowledge in the areas of environmental & regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of technology application solutions that address sustainability
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research data and draw actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Ability to create and deliver compelling content, presentations and business cases to senior business leaders and influencers.
• Highly collaborative with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Good business level English - written and verbal.
• Travel expectations (Europe) in direct customer engagement up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
• The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience managing compliance and regulatory requirements for businesses, enabling them to effectively guide internal product roadmap and engage with Sustainability Managers at customer level.
