Team Lead, Cloud Services (Web App Developer)

Remote - US 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of web & automation developers (Web, React, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell)
  • Strong technical experience in Microsoft Azure/AWS development operations and architecture.
  • You need to be ready to invest yourself in hands-on keyboard activity. You will be committing code to Git repositories every day.
  • Multiple successful customer/internal engagements providing continuous delivery and self-service solutions in Azure or AWS.
  • Be able to both lead and participate in developing large-scale and abstract concepts to an internal audience.
  • Be a full-stack-aware engineer who is not afraid to learn a wealth of tools. Be comfortable with a constantly changing landscape of tools and techniques.
  • Need to be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Embody the core values of sharing, increasing software delivery speed, continuous improvement, self-organization, and self-service.
  • You will be expected to continually assess successful and not so successful practices and to collaboratively adapt team practices to improve the value we bring to our internal and external customers


Requirements/Experience:

  • 5  years’ experience supporting web applications, databases, various scripting languages, and automation.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure offerings, with depth in those that are heavily used when providing DevOps Automation solutions
  • Advanced experience with web frameworks and web development (React, Angular, JavaScript, SPA’s, etc.)
  • Full understanding and demonstrable usage of GIT
  • Familiar with CI/CD practices

Preferred:

  • Experience with S3, Route 53, AppSync (GraphQL), Cognito, CloudFront and other AWS web technologies
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
