Description & Requirements

As a Senior Cloud Consultant you will help businesses transition to, optimize, and manage cloud computing solutions. Their role involves advising clients on cloud strategies, implementing solutions, and ensuring security and scalability. You will also mentor team members and provide best in class service to our customers. 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Operations Monitoring (on premise to cloud solutions).
  • Work directly with stakeholders, partners and hosting providers in a support capacity including ERP XA, ERP LX and ERPS21 product support and managing Level 2/3 activities like Application & OS User Management, Job Management requests, monitoring Wintel restarts and working on Disk Space, RDP and Server Availability issues.
  • Tech stack component installation.
  • Network, Infra and SMTP troubleshooting and perform regular system health checks and ensure backups are successful along with restoration requests (BRMS).
  • Managing ASP related issues like Drastic and Consistent spikes across All AS400 Servers. Coordinating with Hosting Partner for customer related issues.  Handling disaster recovery activities (Partial, Full, Enhanced disaster recovery).
  • Taking care of Documentation (SOH draft, templates creation, flow charts etc) Ticket management, Managing Services now Activities(Creating Bulk Tickets, Change Requests, Standard Change Templets Creation, Adding New Customers/Infra).
  • Performing Application Environments Data Refresh (Using Save restores and Tape restores).
  • Complete grip on BRMS, HALYCON, ROBOT, Native Job Schedular, AJS & HTTP Admin Console. Handling OS/400 Upgrades, Migrations, and getting familiar with HA SAN and Flash Copy Backups Creating documentation for L1, L2 and L3 activities.
  • Managing printer management, SQL installations, enterprise connectors installation, DR/HA testing.
  • Handling Operational projects and implementation projects including OS upgrades, Wintel upgrades, QEDD to HASAN migration, BRMS to Flash copy migration etc.).
  • ERP Products license keys management.
  • Performance fine tuning including journal management.
  • Patch management of ERP Apps like ERP LX, XA & S21 and its components like Workspace, WebTop, IDF (System Link, Net Link, Power Link and Link Manager).

Basic Qualifications :

  • Working with Websphere application console.
  • Experience working on BRMS with HALYCON tools including monitoring and administration.
  • Experience working on AS400 including disaster recovery (role swap) and operations including OSV7R1, V7R2-V7R4 and monitoring tools.
  • Experience working with ERP XA, LX and S21 products.
  • Proficiency in English to be able to provide phone support.
  • Experience troubleshooting on OS400 with printers, writers, messages and both startup and application issues etc.
  • Experience working with job schedulers (IBM Native or Robot).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Infor OS setup and integrations.
  • Experience working in a roll providing backup and restores.
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors on maintenance windows through ticketing portals.
  • Providing training for early talents.
  • Mentoring Early talents and guiding them in their tasks.
