Description & Requirements

The Account Manager is responsible for software sales to achieve both company and personal quotas. 


Responsibilities include developing marketing plans that provide leads, managing of assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business issues and design strategies. 


This individual has advanced knowledge of the ERP products and wide latitude for independent actions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Responsible for generating revenue for assigned territory and accounts:
  • Primary focus is on go forward ERP solutions 
  • Secondary focus on all the cross sell / cross industry products
  • Use formal professional selling practices and tools
  • Nurture the customer by providing value added solutions
  • Contribute to Strategic and Tactical decisions about Marketing and Selling strategies
  • Serves as key point of contact for assigned customers
  • Other duties as assigned, such as maintaining an accurate forecast, update the opportunities in the CRM


Work Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of selling software products 
  • Ability to articulate how to solve predefined business issues 
  • Knowledge of budget cycle and technology
  • Must be an active networker
  • Experience closing new accounts
  • Project Manager and collaborative mindset to work well with the entire Sales team, Consulting, Customer Support Group, Development, Marketing and Sales Management


Other Key Skills & Abilities


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to present technical concepts clearly to customers and the sales team
  • Advanced knowledge of Food and beverage, Distribution or Discrete Manufacturing
  • Ability to develop strategies
  • Professional appearance and presentation required
  • Fluent in French and English language
  • Willingness to travel
