Description & Requirements

This position will be responsible for month-end closing entries and handling day-to-day interactions with other departments and the finance & accounting team to ensure internal customer questions are handled timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

·       Assist in the month-end close process

·       Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to Unbilled Accounts Receivable and Revenue accounts

·       Perform analysis on Manual and System generated entries

·       Maintain proper support and backup for the General Ledger Reconciliations

·       Identify accounting problems, research possible solutions, and summarize conclusions to present to the Manager

·       Assist with system migration of various acquisitions

·       Assist in the preparation of audit documents

·       Assist and lead in various ad-hoc projects for new reporting requirements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA track preferred but not required
  • Experience in an accounting position, preferably with revenue experience
  • Revenue data experience. (ability to build macros and access)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office experience to include intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel including Power Pivots, formulas, and links; Access; Macros
  • Analytical ability with a high level of accuracy and attention for detail Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to add value to the team and strive for growth within the department and company
  • Experience in a large software company environment

Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, St. Paul, MN)
