The Alliances Director, Sr. is a key member of the Selection Advisory team.  This person will be responsible for the regional programmatic relationships and approach with key advisories, ensuring a synchronized plan for generating demand and generating interest to select Infor as a vendor for their clients looking for ERP. The key goals for this role are to generate new sales opportunities with advisories which build into revenue to support the regional sales targets and growth for Infor’s business.

This person will need to be the primary partner to Tier 1 regional advisories, and sales / presales teams. Driving strong collaboration and synergies with selection firms across sales, ecosystem and the broader marketing team will be essential.

Infor is seeking a person who combines business acumen and strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to execution of impactful programs positioning Infor to top Advisories. Someone who has managed external relationships supporting business go-to-markets and sales cycles.


A Day in the Life typically Includes:

  • Drive strategic planning in partnership with the Infor ecosystem and sales and marketing teams regarding go-to-market strategies towards advisories.
  • Develop a regional cross functions plan to positively influence top advisories to consider Infor for the ERP selection missions.
  • Collaborate with teams across Infor functions to roll out and extend a global approach towards advisories at a regional level, ensuring alignment. Act as a guide and facilitator to enable other Infor teams to start engaging with advisories to achieve scale. Interlock with sales, ecosystem and marketing teams.
  • Execute the tactical plan to manage relationships with advisories, ensuring prioritization and the appropriate balance of 1:1 relationships with Tier 1 advisories, and 1:many approach with other Tiers. Drive opportunity acquisition programs, from receiving new RFPs to closing sales cycles. Track and optimize opportunities performance and outcomes. Be highly organized, diligent and delivery oriented.
  • Engage with advisories, ecosystem and Infor leadership to present recommendations for short term and long- term plans.
  • Exemplify the positive attributes of being a cross-functional strong leader, team player and synergies builder.
  • 25-50% travel expected.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B2B enterprise software experience (ideally SaaS/Cloud) with technology industries.
  • Experience creating new sales opportunities via advisory and selection firms from conception to completion. 
  • Experience managing sales opportunities across the customer journey to drive commercial outcomes. 
  • Experience building sales pipeline and closing sales.
  • Experience collaborating with partners, influencing and relationship-building.
  • Experience evolving the advisories relationships framework.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior ERP industry experience.
  • Channel sales partner management experience.
