We are looking for a newly graduated talent to join our M3 Purchase and Manufacturing application team on the 1st of September 2024 as an Associate development business analyst.  

As a business analyst, you will work with the product M3, our Java-based ERP product. M3 provides broad business support for companies with the processes of sales, finance, manufacturing, planning, logistics, purchase, and more. Our purchase and manufacturing applications cover the planning of purchase and manufacturing orders as well as the goods receiving and manufacturing execution amongst others. 

Based in our Linköping office in Mjärdevi Science Park, you will work in a talented team in a highly international environment. Our team holds a broad range of competencies, from application experts to junior product developers, a mix of genders and nationalities.  We believe in learning by doing and therefore you will have a mentor who will help you get up to speed. As a business analyst, you will learn a lot about best practices on how different industries work in the area for the requirements. You will learn to map the processes at a company with the support of our ERP system and will be able to take the lead in development tasks. You will talk to our industry experts to understand the requirements, you will analyze the existing functionality, and design solutions to meet the requirements. You will work with a developer who implements the solution, and you will test and document the new or changed functionality. We always work as a team, and you will gradually understand the architecture of a powerful large-scale, and complex system. You will gain knowledge about business practices across different industries and create solutions. You will learn skills in system design, quality assurance, and test automation.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Stand-up with your team members to share latest updates on work tasks.
  • Requirement- analysis and discussions with requirement owners.
  • Solution design discussions with your colleagues on conceptual and detailed level
  • Quality assurance work, manual testing and writing test automation designs
  • Documentation of new features for the end user documentation 
  • Problem solving, troubleshooting of customer incidents and defect correction. 
  • Demo and show and tell of new features.
  • Continuous learning.
  • Assist and guide Infor colleges as an M3 application expert with deep technical knowledge in an area.
  • Frequent check-offs, workshops and discussions with your colleagues

What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
  • An interest in business processes at a company, IT solutions, and software development
  • Up for challenges with a positive attitude and takes joy in continuous learning.
  • Creatively address big-picture problems with a detailed-minded solution approach.
  • A team player with the ability to work in a team as well as to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate complex and abstract concepts.
  • Academic degree in engineering, Industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management and logistics,systems science, or similar 
  • Fluent in English, Swedish is meriting. 

What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with purchase, manufacturing, or logistical activities at a company
  • Experience or proven interest in learning software design and development. 
  • Skills in systems design, QA, and database management. 
  • General Java programming knowledge, being able to read and understand Java code.
