Title: Senior Business Analyst, M3 Industry Process Catalog (IPC) Development

Location: UK - Remote

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will be an integral part of a small, experienced team responsible for building content in the M3 IPC solutions (formerly know as “IA” – Implementation Accelerators). The position demands a deep understanding of M3 functionality in particular business processes, together with experience of complete end-to-end processes. In addition to preconfiguring data, an ability to clearly describe and document process features within defined and proven standards is essential.

The position assumes an ability to communicate clearly within the team and with connected personnel right across the Infor organization, including senior management, product managers, solution architects, implementation teams, and even Infor partners. 

The successful Business Analyst will understand the critical contributions of the IPC solutions to our M3 Cloud suites and appreciate how the Industry Process Catalog content is utilized within an implementation project. An ability to own and take responsibility for specific features across multiple IPC solutions is essential.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Design and build Industry Process Catalog business processes and solution pre-configuration that reflects the functionality and capabilities of M3 and Edge products.
  • Often working in isolation and within the constraints of deadlines, manage research requirements, design and develop the best practice, then accurately document step-by-step process flows and charts.
  • Closely partner with Product Management, Solution Sales, and expert implementation consultants to formulate the best possible way of working for the customer.
  • Write supporting documentation according to prescribed formats and standards.
  • Work with the Infor Process Modeler Tool to present functionality as clearly as possible. Training on the tool will be offered if required.
  • Work with Infor Jira to record and plan all activities in a development phase.
  • Participate and contribute to regular team and one-to-one meetings.
  • Participate in field enablement where necessary and be prepared to support implementation teams at short notice, often initiated through the Support Portal.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
  • A deep understanding of the value of Infor’s IPC solutions.
  • Proven ability to confidently communicate with Infor management and peer consultancy personnel.
  • Proven ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrated initiative in taking ownership for all assigned responsibilities, deliverables, and results.
  • 10+ years of document-writing skills in clear, concise English.
  • 5+ years of Infor ERP (M3) experience. Essential process areas are Order to Cash, Distribution/Internal Sales, Inventory Management, and Master Data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Minimum of a combination of 10 years’ enterprise software and/or industry experience.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and a willingness to collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent time management, communication, presentation, decision-making and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a pressured, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and from a remote location.
  • Experience of implementations in the Food & Beverage or Distribution industries is preferred but not critical.
  • Although not essential, experience in one or more of the following processes/products is preferred:
    • Sales Hub
    • M3 Extensibility, including scripts and homepage widgets
    • M3 Personalization’s
    • Homepages
    • Supply Chain Orders
    • Equipment Industry Processes
    • PLM for Fashion
