Description & Requirements

Designs, develops and documents applications and implementation of new features. Performs bug fixes, release testing and beta support, which may require research and analysis. Provides system and database administration support for various environments.

Required Skills
What You Will Need:
  • Experience in product development, implementation, and product support using Cobol programming
  • Knowledgeable in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related technologies
  • Must be willing to learn a proprietary language
  • Good understanding and technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, programming, and implementation
  • Good analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level, project planning, and implementation
  • Utilizes well-developed professional skills and solid functional/technical knowledge to perform essential functions
  • Continually seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and skills and stays current with evolving technology and/or business environment
  • Able to work on larger and/or more complex/unique projects
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Flexible, self-taught, passionate about quality and product excellence
  • Must be detail-oriented and can work independently

Preferred Qualifications
  • Financials or Supply Chain Management ERP system experience
  • Experience with GIT
  • Java knowledge
  • Knowledge of XSS and general application security implications
  • Exceptional use of development debugging tools
  • Knowledgeable in JIRA or other similar technologies
  • Familiar with Agile software development methodology
  • Amazon AWS and Cloud environment knowledge
  • Automation Skills particularly with Selenium or the like

A Day In The Life Typically Includes
  • Product development for Lawson Applications EFM and FSM Invoice Matching/Payables and other supported integrations covering but not limited to tasks below:
  • Performs design, implementation, and maintenance of products.
  • Prepares & conducts the unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
  • Designs, develops, and documents applications and implementation of new functionality.
  • Provides product release support.
  • Performs bug verification, release testing, and beta support.
  • Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions.
  • Perform system administration and performance troubleshooting in development and customer environments.
