Description & Requirements

This is a great time to join the Infor family in the Nordics as we are seeking an experienced and sales-oriented Country Manager to lead and grow our ERP solutions business in Finland. We are experiencing extremely high growth, and in this position, you will get the opportunity to join a highly positive and passionate team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market share in the enterprise software market, particularly with ERP solutions in Finland. In this position you will be running the Finnish Management team and be a part of the Nordic Management team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ERP landscape, strong sales and business development skills, and experience managing high-performance teams in the IT industry. In this position it’s essential that you see the importance of team collaboration and that you have a long-term perspective. You will be accountable for the overall sales performance, market expansion, and ensuring sustainable business growth in line with the company's goals for Finland. 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the ERP business in Finland aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring long-term growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing sales team, including recruiting, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • Cross functional team management 

Business Development & Market Expansion:

  • Drive market penetration by identifying potential customers, building key client relationships, and closing high-value deals.
  • Develop and manage relationships with strategic partners, including system integrators, ISVs, and technology vendors.
  • Lead the sales cycle from initial prospecting to negotiation and deal closure, ensuring timely and successful delivery of ERP solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to tailor go-to-market strategies, including pricing, promotions, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop relationships with evaluation consultants.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee customer engagements and ensure successful delivery of ERP implementations, working closely with delivery and support teams.
  • Ensure effective post-sales support, driving customer success and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Financial & Operational Management:
  • Own the P&L responsibility for the ERP business within the country or region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline management, and profitability to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on market trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance.


Industry Leadership & Thought Leadership:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars, positioning the brand as a market leader in ERP solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies, leveraging this knowledge to refine the business strategy.

Key Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

Experience:

  • Leadership experience in the IT or software industry, with a focus on ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software sales, particularly ERP systems.
  • Strong experience in managing sales teams and delivering results in a complex, solution driven and collaborative environment.
  • Solid understanding of ERP ecosystems, business processes, and industry verticals (e.g., manufacturing, retail, finance).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performance sales culture and collaboration within the organization.
  • Strong negotiation, deal-closing, and contract management skills.
  • Deep experience with net new selling within the ERP industry.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and the ability to manage long-term complex sales engagements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel when required both nationally and internationally 
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, speaking and writing. Swedish is considered as beneficial.
