Description & Requirements

At the highest level you are the person responsible for delivering on our vision within an individual product or suite of products.  It’s our business analysts who help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. You will conduct product research leading to new and improved product features to maintain the company’s competitive position and profitability. You are responsible for creating product specifications (requirements documents and use cases) in conjunction with application experts; designers, usability analysts and engineers to manage product improvements from inception to delivery. This also includes regulatory requirements that allow our products to support a global strategy of country readiness.

Business Analysts are the owners of a specific feature or software module that has been approved and assigned by the product manager.  You are responsible for research, documentation, and presentations to product teams that outline how the approved feature will benefit the product and/or satisfy the customer request.
This is accomplished by:
Collecting and analyzing the project’s business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to the development team.
Evaluating the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys, and workshops.
Providing suggestions to the product and software engineers during the development stage to ensure the feature meets the market or customer expectations. 
Communicating effectively with external customers and internal teams to deliver a product’s functional requirements.  This includes accurate documentation of detailed screen page layout and functional requirement specifications.    
Documenting customer requests that include product requirement documents and obtaining sign-off from customers outlining the expected results.  
Managing any change requests related to the feature’s project life cycle to meet the agreed deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze and document business processes.
Ability to make effective decisions.
Ability to think analytically and solve problems.
Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
Ability to organize and moderate customer or internal requirement presentations and meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Sales and Catering Software
Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Group Sales Manager, Catering Manager, Meeting Manager, or Conference Manager  
o Front Desk and/or Operations Manager experience will also be considered.
Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration preferred.
Past business analyst experience, ideally in hospitality software
