Position Summary:

  • Responsible for the overall Project Management and Agile transformation of the teams under the organization. 
  • Identify project risks and escalate to management as needed. 
  • Creates user and stakeholder documentations and guides using Confluence. 
  • Develops metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and productivity of the team. 
  • Coaches other Scrum Masters to assist them in leading their teams to Agile maturity.
  • Works with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to conduct detailed business analysis and translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria. 
  • Facilitate retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities and determine an action plan to address those

A Day in the Life Typically includes:

  • Leads the organization in the transformation of teams to Agile and Scrum
  • Coordinates communications within the Scrum Team and Product Teams to include identification of client expectations, critical business issues, etc.
  • Facilitates Scrum Ceremonies such as Refinement Sessions, Sprint Planning, Daily Standup meetings, Sprint Reviews, Demos, Retrospectives, and engagements with stakeholders.
  • Works with Product Owners, developers, and quality assurance analysts to estimate appropriate business solutions and set process expectations.
  • Provides project leadership to teams on small to medium-sized projects in areas such as product development, research, process development and organizational development.
  • Direct point of contact for all implementation-related issues, and resource requirements.
  • Serve as primary agent in helping Product Teams achieve their tactical goals including a successful implementation, a positive business relationship with the handled DevOps teams and remain a satisfied partner of the Applied Tooling Platform.
  • Identify project risks and escalate to management as needed.
  • Maintains the proper level of documentation necessary in each engagement to enable the business and product teams to periodically assess project status.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Amenable to 3PM-12AM M-F schedule
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
  • 3y experience as a Scrum Master
  • 8y experience in the software industry
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with distributed global teams and overseas stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile Scrum practices and activities

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe certification
  • Knowledge in AWS
  • Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD concepts
  • 2y experience managing/supervising a development team
