Description & Requirements

The Cloud Tools and Services department (CTS) provides Infor with a variety of tools for development, monitoring, cost savings, and many supporting activities.

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team at CTS!

Challenges:

  • Deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based distributed services.
  • Design and implementation of automation workflows.
  • Design and implementation of operation-supporting services.
  • Optimization of service performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration with a development team to assure service reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and incident handling.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date documentation.
  • Participation in agile standups and code reviews.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a DevOps or SRE engineer.
  • Experience with AWS core services (IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFormation).
  • 2+ years of Python coding experience.
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Experience with containers (Docker) and container management systems.
  • Experience in infrastructure as a code development.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with monitoring systems.
  • Experience with time series databases.
  • Experience with Kafka and data streaming.
  • Certifications (AWS, Linux).
