Description & Requirements

As a Developer Engagement Strategist supporting Infor Platform's Technology team, your primary responsibility will be to build and grow a vibrant community of developers and builders who leverage Infor's Platform Technology. You will also play a crucial role in managing the developer content within a dedicated developer portal, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and supports the needs of the developer community. Your strategic expertise will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with developers, driving engagement, and promoting the adoption of Infor's Platform Technology.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, engage, and retain developers within the Infor Platform Technology community.
  • Curate and manage the content on the developer portal, including documentation, tutorials, code samples, and other resources, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and valuable to the developer community.
  • Drive developer engagement through various channels, such as forums, social media platforms, events, and online communities, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Serve as a passionate advocate for Infor's Platform Technology, actively promoting its features, benefits, and use cases to developers and builders.
  • Gather feedback from the developer community and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the developer experience, identify pain points, and prioritize feature requests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and marketing teams, to align developer engagement strategies with product roadmaps and overall business goals.
  • Organize and oversee the TechTV live Builder Hour series, a regular livestream event aimed at developers and builders on the Infor Platform. This includes planning the content, coordinating guest speakers, scheduling the livestream, managing technical aspects, promoting the event, and ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for participants.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in developer relations, developer engagement, or a related role within the software/technology industry. Experience with Infor’s Platform Technology is a huge plus.
  • Understanding of software development concepts, frameworks, and technologies, with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Building and growing developer communities, with a focus on fostering engagement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Managing developer-focused content, including documentation, tutorials, and code samples, using content management systems or developer portals.
  • Ability to engage and inspire developers through compelling content, presentations, and public speaking engagements.
  • Passion for Technology: Genuine interest in emerging technologies, software development trends, and the developer ecosystem, with the ability to stay updated on industry advancements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from developer feedback and engagement metrics.


Remote (Dallas, TX; St. Paul, MN; and Alpharetta, GA)


We anticipate paying between $113,000 - $123,000 per year.  You may also be offered discretionary variable compensation of $11,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.  In addition, Infor provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
