Software Development Manager position includes full leadership responsibility for the team under Your management. The offices are in Stockholm, and it is required that you are based there as well, together with the team.

This Manager role will also mean that you mentor, guide and help other engineers, as well as act as a technical leader, to work towards the vision set for the product and organization.

We are looking for a Software Development Manager for the core microservices, who would like to help us on our application transformation and microservices journey.

You will be working in a team consisting of highly driven and talented experts, who are comfortable in working and collaborating both together, and individually towards a team goal. You will also be working on the cutting-edge solution for our future products as a partial owner.

In addition, you will also learn the products from multiple angles and have the chance to work with teams outside your organization. You will be able to expand your knowledge and get a broad understanding of architecture and solutions utilized on Your projects.

As a manager, you will be working on our original solution and help us on the journey of transforming applications into containerization and microservices. Alongside Your team, You will be working with latest technologies run on multiple cloud platforms and decide on the best practices and architecture of all microservices. Sounds exciting?


  • Provide direction (both technical and people-focused) for the team including full leadership responsibility.
  • Responsible for recruitment of new team members to the team when required.
  • Build containerization and orchestration solution and architecture for multiple application and services.
  • Analyze, develop and test orchestration solution on multiple platforms with on-premise and cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with others and deliver results in an agile team.
  • Build automation for installation, provisioning, and deployment of solution in multiple platforms.
  • Help developers in the team and projects.

What will you need:

  • Leadership skills either with previous direct reports or indirect leadership of teams and resources.
  • Previous experience as lead developer, architect, or technical manager.
  • Java and Spring Boot knowledge in a distributed system architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Java programming.
  • Interested in building, testing, and presenting solutions.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have:

  • Background in relation databases.
  • Experience with SaaS with one or more cloud providers AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
