Description & Requirements

A Data Services Client Partner has responsibility for services bookings, sales pipeline management, forecasting and reporting, strategic planning, customer nurturing, Client Partner sales support, collateral materials, proposals and work order creation. This role is a leadership role in terms of having full responsibility for IDS sales strategy and execution. The individual will team, and work with ERP Client Partners in the field in an Overlay capacity with respect to deal execution. Expertise and work efforts are focused on services sales and day-to-day practice management.

 

Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Working closely with IDS practice leadership and Client Partners to sell (book) IDS
  • Forecasting quarterly sales bookings and preparing weekly IDS dashboards / reports
  • Collaborating with GPS sales leadership on IDS opportunities
  • Answering Request for Proposal (RFP) dated related questions
  • Preparing and presenting Infor Data Services offerings to perspective buyers
  • Creating / editing IDS Services Work Orders (SWO) and assisting Client Partners in the creation and updating of GPS Bid Packs and editing / refreshing IDS collateral materials
  • Meeting in person will perspective and existing IDS customers and effectively managing customer concerns and resolving issues during GPS Delivery challenges to ensure customer satisfaction and timely solution
  • Coordinating Account Executive (AE), Customer Success Executive (CSE), Delivery Executives (DE) and Project Managers (PM) education and awareness of IDS


Basic Qualifications:

  • Software services and “solution selling” experience
  • History of meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Experience with ERP systems and processes
  • Experience with ETL data principles
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating and networking with cross-functional teams to drive business closure through effective communication and coordination
  • Experience presenting with ability to articulate the corporate vision, strategies, and complex technologies.
  • Experience in actively participating in the development and creation of Packaged Service Offerings, including defining service components and ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives

Location:  US Based (Dallas, TX, Alpharetta, GA, St. Paul, MN)

For California, Colorado, Maryland, New York and Washington applicants, we anticipate paying between $140,000 - $175,000 per year.  You may also be offered discretionary variable compensation [or target commission of $56,000 - $70,000 depending on the role].
